The Prefect Team is made up of Year 11 students who have applied to become prefects towards the end of Year 10. The successful students receive leadership training and are asked to carry out a variety of duties on a weekly basis as well as supporting Parents' Evenings and Open Evening.
Prefects are role models for all other students in the school and can be identified by their prefect tie and badge.
Academy Council
The Academy Council is made up of one representative from each year group. Year Council reps must apply to their Head of Learning to take on this role. The Academy Council meets each half term and is led by the Head Boy and Head Girl. They then can feedback from the meeting to the staff SLT.
Year Council
The Year Council is made up of two representatives from each tutor group and students must apply to their Form Tutor to take on the role. The Year Councils meet twice a half term with their Head of Learning to discuss issues raised in tutor time.
