Open Evening

This year we will be holding our annual Open Evening on 9 October 2025, for families of our prospective students. The event will run between 5pm and 8pm, with the Principal’s and students' speeches at 5:45pm and 6:30pm. The event will give you the opportunity to wander freely around our facilities and speak to our staff and students.

Following the event, you will be able to view video recordings of these speeches on our website.

Open Morning

Why not come and see us in action on a normal working day and visit our Open Morning. This will take place on Friday 17 October between 9 am and 12 noon, with tours running approximately every half an hour.  

Open Evening Speeches 2025 

At the start of October, we held our annual Open Evening for families of our prospective students. The flagship event was a tremendous success, much of which was down to the extraordinary support from our current students. In total, an incredible 200 students (1/5 of our student population) were supporting us in a number of different roles. Some of our senior students represented us as tour guides and did a fantastic job showing our guests around the academy. Also, several students from across all year groups, supported staff within departments, talking about the different subjects and helping with the live practical demonstrations. A special thank you must go to our two Year 7 students and our Head Girl and Head Boy, who presented speeches to a packed hall of around 500 visitors - all chairs were filled, and there was literally standing room only at the back of the hall!
