Friends Of Highcrest

Friends of Highcrest are a group of parents and staff who meet approximately once a month, to discuss suggestions and fundraising ideas for our children and their school.

We have organised various fundraising events over the years including our very popular and successful Xmas Fayre, our twice yearly quiz nights, jumble sales and coffee mornings. 

As well as raising £150 at our 2nd Hand Book Sale held in September, we also recently raised an amazing £125 selling snacks and drinks at the Year 7 and 8's Disco.

As a result of our fundraising efforts we have been able to make donations to various school departments. Most recently, funding towards an Activity Week for our MFL Department; funding to purchase netball kit for Year 8s who took part in a tournament.  We also gave funding towards the purchase of microphones for our Drama Department.

We raised a fantastic £1145.75 at our Xmas Fayre.

Perhaps you might have some fundraising ideas or suggestions you would like to share with us?

Anyone who has a connection with our school is more than welcome to join us. As well as active members, we often need volunteers who are able to offer their time. This may include serving refreshments, collecting money, selling raffle tickets, showing people where to park or just rounding up other parents/carers to join us.
